About Me

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Many little girls dream of becoming a dancer when young. I was one of them and did, as well as teaching in many areas of this art form. However I made the change to becoming a gym trainer and eventually a competitor in Figure. After being diagnosed with two interlinked "conditions" I pushed on to continue competing as sportsmodel, however wish to return to compete in figure. This blog is to show those who feel certain conditions in any area of their lives can be overcome to still reach their full potential and dreams. This blog is my journey to overcome obstacles and inspire others to do the same.

my legs my legs

Ouchies! today i thought i may tweak my usual program and add some hammi work and delete some glute work and i will do the same on friday where i usually do hami and glute work(add a quad and deletesome glute) so i can directly work on these areas. I have made some progress with upper body-back and shoulders, but now that i have focused on these areas my legs and chest are lacking:(

I have started to get used to the new food plan josh has got me onto and may be telling timmy my hubby soon about my plans to go do novice figure with inba in Oct 6. I hope he will be ok with that as he has been concerned. the only reason though is because he remembers me saying that 1 week pre 2000 figure novice comp my uc flared and i was hospitalised twice. I do not think it was the diet or training-but the other stresses I was dealing with at the time-ie dumping a boyfriend that was also competing in the same comp, moving out of home, buying my own house and starting a new job!

I have contacted the ANB and they have been very supportive in me trying for the first time with their Novice figure. It is good to have encouragment when times -like last night-bring doubts to the front of your mind. I am looking forward to going to the ALl female comp!

Hi Jewel, thanks for stopping by my blog! I will definetely check that out with the doc - and hopefully the endoscopy will reveal the reason. Gets a bit frustrating when they start to look at you like its all in your head!!

Good luck with your comp prep for figure, very exciting!
